David went from being nervous and really scared to the best he could possibly be. When he was young he was afraid to help his dad when he was dying. Now with the Reckoners, David has helped many people endangered from the Epics. Page 15 "I was scared, frightened, afraid."

I feel like the author is saying the world is getting to corrupted with power.  If one person has to much power they can just control one thing like a dictator.

In my dystopian book the society is very corrupted. The change they are trying to do is make everyone feel safer. They do defeat Steelheart and are now on other epics.  Page 6, "Sometimes you have to help the heroes along."

They are struggling with the plans for the death of someone higher in the ranks. Steelheart is the target but they are having issues with getting to him. The common idea is the Reckoners are trying to maintain justice even though they live in an imperfect world. The character David is also trying to help the Reckoners. My theme topic is good vs. evil. Right now the good guys are trying to kill the bad guys until theirs none left. Page 58 "I've seen Steelheart bleed." David is trying to prove he's seen a invincible guy bleed.

My book is about people that are epics. They live everywhere in the world. Page 62 "Where Omaha or Sacramento." They live anywhere they can and anybody in this picture could be an epic.

Steelheart just got done with a fight and David watched the fight and found something out. Davids dad fought Steelheart and hurt him even though everyone thought he was invincible. David is the only one that knows how to hurt Steelheart he just doesn't have the guts to do it. Page 16 says, "I'm the only one that knows how he got that scar on his cheek." David knows what he has to do.

I'm a little way into the story and they've talked very little of where they are at. It sounds like they are in a biggish town like Chicago, they call it Newcago. On page 22 it says "I watched people pour out of The Reeve House." The Reeve House is very popular where it's at because it's very cheap and it's in a run-down part of Newcago.
