I think that the man wanted the birds so he could sell them illegally for more money. However, he was eventually caught and I think that in the first place the man should not have broken into the shop to steal birds. The man should have known that selling pets illegally is a crime and should not have the idea to do so in the first place. He could have just worked for money instead of finding the easy but risky way which landed him in court.

i feel that he should not have done that , he should have controlled his anger , respected her and not punch her , i think it’s wrong to do that , they could have talked it out not turing physical , he should also pay for her medical bills as he caused her injury , he should have at least apologised .

This was such an unfortuanate incident as the 5 men sacrificed their lives for the country. Only the five were saved and the other five unfortuanatley drowned. Even worse, they were the most capable of the pack that went to Phnom Penh. Scaring the people, the strong current had taken away the lives of 5 young and capable men. What did the 5 men do to get there lives taken away? These men had went to Phnom Penh to represent Singapore’s dragon boat team. But lost their lives to a strong current. We should all be proud and grateful that some people are willing to risk their lives for the country’s good.
