The topic I chose was the fast food marketing towards people in American, significantly children. Many fast food companies, for example McDonald’s, target kids through advertising and toys in meals which leads to unhealthy eating from a young age.

This topic is important because childhood obesity can lead to long term effects on health. Some of these long term health effects includes diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, and many more health issues. Most people eat fast food because of poverty and low income, leading to limited access to healthy foods and making fast food restaurants more convenient for them.
