Sevillanas is a type of folk music and dance of Sevilla and its region. They were derived from the seguidilla, an old castilian folk music and dance genre. In the nineteenth century they were influenced by flamenco. The Sevillanas is a typical Andalusian dance from Sevilla, Huelva and other provinces of Andalucia.
It is a dance especially at the April fair in Sevilla.Or in the pilgrimage or the virgin of the head.
His compas is 3/4.Usually accompanied by the guitar touches with palms that make the palmeros that accompany the singer or the ground tthey are also typical in some occasions  ,the castanets,flute ,drum,tambourine

In my country, there are  many  folk dances as the seguidilla. 
The seguidilla, since ancient times, it was danced in pairs that can be mixed, forming a circle and they are changing couples. The content of his lyrics is about a love theme, but there is also thematic or jocosa.
