There are number of resources that could be provided for Arnie to promote positive outcomes for him. I would suggest:
1. Consortium of Citizens with Disabilities: The resource advocates for national public policy that ensures self-determination, independence, empowerment, integration and inclusion of children and adults with disabilities in all aspects of society (Consortium of Citizens with Disabilities, 2017). Having this resources will aide Arnie in becoming self-determined and empower him to be a member of society.
2. Division of Adult Education and Literacy: A resources that helps persons with disability obtain basic skills that is needed to be a productive worker, family member and citizen (Center of Parent Information and Resources, 2017). This program emphasizes basic skills such as reading, writing, math, English Language competency and problem solving. This would be a great educational resource for Arnie.

Arnie has many people who support him. Arnie's main caregiver is his brother Gilbert. Arnie goes with Gilbert to work and many other places. Gilbert is responsible for Arnie's bathing and bedtime routine. The family somewhat dysfunctional still manages to eat at the table for dinner. They discuss components of their day. Arnie's mother Bonnie, is very loving towards him. In a way it seems as though she is over protected of Arnie, but due to her limited mobility she can only do so much for him. Arnie's sister Amy prepares all the meals and engages in hiding seeking with him. Arnie's sister Ellen watches over him when Gilbert is busy but she gets impatient with him at time. Each person places a role in Arnie's everyday life.

Disability culture stems directly from the experience of disabled persons in society and their struggles to emerge from marginalization and oppression with dignity and freedom (Mackelprang & Salgiver, 2016).
-In the movie Arnie is constantly looked at as different. Every time he would climb the tower the whole town would come to watch as if it was some sort of show. By the expressions on these individuals faces I could see how theywere judgmental towards him and their were even children who laughed and mocked him. So in his current society he is looked down upon. Another example would be when his mother had to come to get him after he was arrested for climbing the tower once again. His mother is obese which causes her to be physically disable. As the are leaving the police station the whole town comes and look at her and Arnie as if they were something that they have never seen before. There were comments made and the looks that the family were getting made them feel uncomfortable. This is an example of the struggle that persons with disability face in society.
