Arnold is a man that was born poor but built his way up to being an American icon all over media. He stresses that people need to separate themselves from others. To live an exciting life that can get you to places others won't dare to go. Furthermore he says that someone wishing to be successful needs to sacrifice being comfortable.

Arnold uses these rhetorical devices to make the audience more involved in his speech. It proves to be effective because people are more attentive to what he was saying. He explains real life relate able stories so that the audience doesn't get bored. The audience was hooked onto Arnold's speech because of his very real advice and humor.

Growing up he really didn't have support, not even from his family and he attacks the character of the opponent by saying that they are negative people and are mundane.

This speech was amazing, the audience and their parents gave great feedback by clapping and laughing. No one was disrespectful and it seemed like every graduate was soaking in Arnold's advices for the real world.
