1) for design, I can use AI to churn out more visually appealing ideas, gathering feedback for video. Can also use to judge how visually appealing an infographic. For surveys and interviews i can use AI to extract themes from a response. Using transcribe.gov.sg to transcribe interviews, videos. We can also use AI to re-write effective content and make presentation. Theres a nudge tool.

2) its not 100% accurate, still requires modification. The response it returns to my prompts may not be what i had in my mind. Safety and security issues- classified info cant rlly use AI

3) teach us more ways to incorporate and how to use the AI tech

4) it would be bonus if AI can help us make presentation slides

Q1: Writing formal emails, Idea generation, Summarizing reports

Q2: AI is not specific to our use case (trained on generic data and not MAS Data), No central place to find where available IT Tools, No risk guidelines (is management willing to accept the unvalidated answer in lieu of using AI)

Q3: Piloting AI initiatives, Leaders need to understand the use cases and associated risk, reward and recognise use of AI (and not give them more work)

Areas of work that can benefit from AI
- Website Chatbot - so that we can reduce the need to answer L1 queries across our channels
Challenges
- A lot more tech debts to clear before going on AI
- Depts might not want to continue to maintain their content. This is crucial because we need to have a strong base for the answers to be accurate
How can ODC leaders help?
- Set clear objectives and alignment with departments on how AI should be used to enhance users digital service experience and staff workload, aligning these goals with the overall strategy of service journey
- Help to oversee and manage AI POCs by depts happening across different products, which are outside their ownership and do not understand the real constraints of the product/people
