He thinks that everyone hates being misunderstood but thats what makes a person a person. Also all the best well known people were often misunderstood, so why wouldn't you wanna be? I agree with Thoreau that society today is bad. Everyone is so worried about how people view them. My bed because it is really comfy and I would want that with me if I never came back home. A credit card so I can buy what I need like food and clothes. Lastly my phone because I would need to take pictures and say goodbye to people. He made it a different way and didn't follow everyone else. This to me means that there isn't just one way to do something and you can find a different route with your own mind. I can relate to this quote because I remember in third grade when everyone washing soccer and that was the biggest sport to do. So I joined a team and I wasn't that good at it and I found that it wasn't for me. instead of staying with a sport I didn't really enjoy I switched to cheer leading. Other students in the school were making fun of them for being different. The four boys were very intrigued by science and technology. One night three of the boys were riding bikes home and the last boy rode of into the woods and never returned. This lead the rest of them to try to find Will, the missing boy, with using their smarts in science and technology. It is the only thing I am really responsible for and I just left it. Around me I noticed more kids on there phones and how much time you are really on it during the day. Also i learned that kids communication skill these days aren't as strong as they used to be before phones and technology. Now that I had my phone gone for a school day I really wish that phones didn't have such a huge impact on this generation. I think that having immediate communication with our peers is a good and bad thing. Good because if you don't see family a lot or if you need to ask questions or just to talk to someone.
