Fitzgerald has many event or traits of his life that connect to the book. Having affairs is a large part of the book and something that has happened to him. Alcohol is a main part of The Great Gatsby and a large part of who Fitzgerald was, he was just a heavy alcoholic. Love is a thematic idea which is shared between his life and the book. Always be self-aware of what one is doing and having control of ones own life decisions.

Many interesting parts about F.Scott Fitzgerald's life that ended up in his novel, The Great Gatsby. The first girl he met was Ginevra King. She couldn't be with him because of his social status. So she married someone else. The same thing happened with Daisy and Gatsby.A main Thematic idea in Fitzgerald's life and the novel is social class. A lesson that can be learned is that who someone loves shouldn't be important to someone's social status.

While writing The Great Gatsby, Fitzgerald incorporated his own lifestyle into a character, Jay Gatsby. In the story Gatsby is a young man who went from rags to riches. He throws many parties and lives a very extravagant life. Some thematic ideas are shared between the novel and his life, including class, love, and secrecy. Throughout his life, Fitzgerald fell in love many times and was left with a broken heart many times. A few instances were because of his social status and class. In the novel, everyone seems to be hiding something, and Zelda Fitzgerald hid an affair from her husban

Gatsby went to war and so did Fitzgerald. A thematic idea is class Fitzgerald wasn't rich and Zelda was, she didn't want to marry him because of that. But when his writing career took off she went back with him which was shady. A lesson that can be learned is don't marry a gold digger.

There's a lot of moments in Fitzgerald's life that ended up in his novel "The Great Gatsby". One part is that he was a poor boy surrounded by the rich people but he makes big money fast by dedicating his work to making a novel and gets acceptance. This relates to how Gatsby was poor but somehow makes a lot of money fast and he now lives among the rich and is accepted by them. A thematic idea that relates to this is class. A lesson learned/ a theme is that no matter what class you are born into, you can achieve a successful life with wealth and live the "american dream" if you're dedicated.

F. Scott Fitzgerald sure had an interesting life. He dropped out of college and moved around a lot. Fitzgerald would get really drunk and at times couldn't get himself together like in the novel The Great Gatsby, the people at Gatsby's parties would get crazy drunk and be all over the place, they were very wild. Fitzgerald uses many aspects of his own life in his novel, like his love life with both Ginevra and Zelda, he used aspect from both ladies to create Daisy. She was the fun to be around and the girl that everyone wanted

-Some interesting parts that ended up in his novel is his love life. He met a girl name Ginera King, but she went on to someone who is more "suitable" to her lifestyle. But later on, he met another women name Zelda, she was wild, outgoing, and that caught his attention. He proposed to her and she accepted, but she broke off the engagement because he didn't have enough for her to live her life. Both of these women are influences of Daisy in his novel. Some parts that ended up in his novel are NYC and Long Island, they became the main setting in his novel..
- Class, is one of the thematic ideas that connects in Fitzgerald and his novel. It's important because both of the novel and his life, money gets where you are, what you want, and power. Lessons can be learn is, don't marry someone or love them if they want you for your moeny.

It’s interesting how in both the book and Fitzgerald’s real life both Gatsby and Fitzgerald went to the army of some sort.
