Costa Rica has a low risk of terrorism but, the main groups would be, drug trafficking organizations, U.S. treasury, and Global context. The most common methods are drug trafficking, financial crimes, and kidnapping. There is no recent history of terrorist attacks but Costa Rica focuses on preventive legal framework. The goal of these terrorist groups are profit, territory, and destabilization. The local media portrays terrorism is distant, low-probability threat and I think that is accurate. Costa Ricans have no impact to there daily life.

3 major terrorist groups:

Hezbollah

Hamas

The Houthis

Common Methods:

Bombings/explosions

Assassinations

Armed assaults

Government Response:

The government of Iran employs a two-pronged approach to "terrorist groups": it actively supports a network of foreign proxy groups to project influence (which Western countries consider terrorism) while using its security forces to combat domestic militant groups and those that threaten its territory.

Terrorist Group Goals:

to expand Iran's influence, and challenge the influence of the u.s and israel and weaken regional rivals.

Media Portray:

Western (including local U.S.) media portrayals of terrorism in Iran are widely analyzed as being often biased and tending to amplify official U.S. government narratives. These portrayals are not necessarily inaccurate regarding specific events, but they are frequently incomplete, lack critical scrutiny of government claims, and contribute to a broader "pro-terrorism" image of Iran in the public consciousness.

Daily Life:

For the average citizen in Iran, terrorism does not portray a constant, direct physical threat in daily life, as major terrorist incidents within the country have been infrequent and generally show a decreasing trend. The primary impacts on the public's daily life are more related to the economic consequences of sanctions and the internal political repression by the state, which some sources describe as a form of "terrorizing" its own citizens.
