running a media group that relies heavily on public image and public relations then it is in the best interest of the media group to avoid ANY kinds of controversy because of one person's act. having a taint of a controversy is bad enough in their record but to have them still participate in the group will show to the world that you are not taking a hard stance against them and you are still supporting someone for acting like that

with the advent of social media and cancel culture, a controversy in any way can cause massive stir up and bad media on BTS, with having suga still participate in BTS then BTS would be seen as enabling a bad act and still having this bad actor be profitting from BTS

the integrity of the band is entirely decided in this moment, if the band chooses to still have suga in the band they have lost their integrity in enabling someone that have breached south korean law to participate and still profit in the group. by having BTS cut suga off from the group it would show a hard stance for fans, and other members that the band has integrity and name to uphold that they're a fun media band and still uphold the law

in a media compnay the most important value to uphold is public image and integrity. with having a good public image and a good history slate a media company can evade unnecessary controversy and massive losses of following such as in cancel culture and the toxic world that is social media like twitter or instagram

we are not saying they are going to support him, we are saying having them still be affiliated is a part of participating with someone that has done something wrong. in society that is still bad if you work with someone that has done something wrong

this suga fandom is also bad for the community. if a fandom have one cult of personality which will support whatever their idol do even to the point of supporting them after an illegal mistake. then that is a taint in a fandom itll be a bad look for the entire BTS fandom, the wider world would see the BTS army as a toxic community just because of one cult of personality, this is called bad popularity
