There is improvement across almost all areas. That's really awesome! The biggest thing that jumped out to me is the 41% retention rate from Primary to Secondary is very sad, but we probably retain less than this at our schools because of the Secondary School setup and what the students need to "give up" in order to continue with Music/IMSS.

Connect data - will have significant gaps as many schools purposefully don’t use and potentially use another platform. And some students don’t have access to a device/internet access

We felt the data needed to be more specific and look at the data of students who start in year 3 vs year 5, vs year 7.

Also need to look at where the drop out occurs. Is it when students need to purchase their own instrument? When students start selecting their own subjects? Does music as an off-grid subject effect retention?

Staff need another 'ant other business or open forum time at staff meetings. What and how to address mental well being and student care? Re Vision statement

In the vision statement, it would be fantastic to add something about music helping students to tell their (and/or their culture's) STORY.

This would bring a unique/different literacy element into the teaching and learning of music that is a little less about technique/excellence, and more about communication/sharing together. This would also be something accessible and understandable by every student doing music.
