I am so proud to be the lead in Years 5 and 6. After going to Leeds University, I have had a variety of fun and unusual occupations before finding my passion - teaching. Outside of school, I enjoy playing and watching football (Especially The Arsenal). I love to watch movies and enjoy walks in the countryside with my family and dogs.

I am very excited this year to be joining the rest of the team at RPS for a fifth year as the 5/6 teacher. I have been teaching in a school in Castleford for 7 years, working in a range of different year groups throughout my time there. Most of my teaching career, I have spent 9 years working in Upper Key stage two and I love the opportunities that it provides on a day-to-day basis. I am passionate about seeing children progress and develop into the very best that they can be. In my own time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I have a cocker spaniel named Archie, who loves to go out for a long walk too, which keeps me very busy – he’s a real character.
