We were divided into groups and each assigned a different activity to start with . Activities included archery tag , rock climbing , kickdarts and team building activities. I enjoyed the rock climbing and the kick darts the most but the archery tag and team building activities were also fun . We walked down to the castle from the school and we were greeted by a historian that worked there. She gave us a quick lesson on how and when the castle was built. It was built in the 12th  century by the Fitzgerlad Family. They lived there and owned the land for many years. We then headed up the steps and into the large banqueting hall. We all sat down on the benches and learned all about their customs and what they ate and drank . We then went downstairs and into the vaulted chamber. We had an early break and were back in school and changed and ready to go for the cycle at 1 o clock.We got a bus from school and out to the pedal pursuits shed where we rented the bikes. Everyone got their bike and helmet and we all set off up the road towards Barna tunnel . We cycled up the newly surfaced trail and crossed under the old railway tunnel. We then cycled back the Great Southern Trail towards town but had to turn back because we ran out of time . We cycled back to the shed and handed back the bikes. We got to the bus at school at 5;45. We left and arrived at 9;30. We entered the ploughing easily. I walked around the stalls with my friends and bought jerseys and few  more things at good prices. I then went to look at some machinery that was on display. The sun was belting down and it was very warm.There was a large crowd there and this made queues even longer. Before heading back to the bus, I got something quick to eat and the journey home began. Our class were in the textile room and he arrived in at 1:45 . He first taught us how to sign "welcome to Irish sign language class". We learned basic words like hi , yes and no. We learned how to spell our names and say where we are from . Ger was really helpful and kind. He then taught us numbers counting from 1-20 . We were greeted at the door by the kind worker there who brought us upstairs into a room where he gave us a talk. He talked about the history of Brothers of Charity and the kind of work they do . He talked to us about the disabilities they have and the help they need. We then recieved a tour of the building and we met some of the people who live there.
