I was the only kid who passed in the class, and I got a bunch of stickers, but I never ever used those stickers because I was guilty. I never told anybody except my best friend, and then she ran to tell the teacher. I denied this, and my web of lies continued to grow. The teacher was disappointed, but not mad. Earlier in the year, I hung out with this one group and sometimes we didn't agree with each other and most of us would get mad at one person and that one person gets mad at the group. I thought that it was a good idea to go with what the majority of the group said, even if I thought that the one person everybody was mad at was correct. After a while we went back to liking each other. Then it went back to hating one person for a little a while later. I again went with the flow. Finally when a new person came, everybody was so into that person that she influenced their thoughts but not mine. I told them that I didn't really like the new person but they thought I was crazy.
