At the preschool we do movement exercise. A child is learning to do jumping jacks. He was slow and didn’t know how at the beginning, but he kept trying he got better and stronger.

Deluca always needed help to climb onto the Honda when we go out, but recently he learned how to climb onto it himself. He learned the gross motor skill; climbing onto a big object.

There is 1 child who gets along with everybody at the daycare. She asks each and every child so often “you’re my best friend, right?” The child is so social, knows how to play along with everybody.

When kids first start trying to do puzzles they tend to just squish the pieces together and pile them or gather them in their arms. Eventually they’ll learn how to figure out how to fit pieces together properly and once that happens they’ll also start trying bigger puzzles with smaller pieces

Alphonse is learning to name things he sees at the daycare. He learns from his teachers, along with his friends. When we’re putting his shoes on, he’ll point to them and say “shoes”. Also when he is getting his diaper changed, he’ll say “pants” while pointing to his pants. He also lets us know he finished his drink and says “more water” during snack or lunch time.

Last year it was a child’s first day at daycare and all he did the first few days was sit in the corner quietly during the activities and not interact with the other kids. And now every time he gets dropped off he’s smiling and runs to go play with his friends and participating in the activities

When I first started at the daycare, Elena was still in diapers. When she was potty training, she knew when she had to go. She never had any accidents because she recognized the feeling of knowing when to use the washroom, and let her teachers know that she needs to go. She understood what her body was telling her.

Angus, 1, is very attached to a couple teachers at the daycare. One morning he was very attached to me, that I couldn’t leave his sight or else he’d cry if I tried. We were sitting and playing together, but when I tried to stand up to get a tissue, he cried and held onto me so I wouldn’t leave him.

At daycare, every morning we greet the kids and sometimes their parents. Laleh loves to talk a lot, most time when she comes back from lunch, i would ask what she had and most time it’s the same thing she likes. She so social with one little girl, they gotta talk and play with each other everyday ( Monday to friday)

There’s this one child at daycare that loves to remember things she did. She got picked up for the end of the day, she came back the next morning and told us teachers that she seen a wolf at the dump while driving home. She’s really good at remembering alot of things. Daily she says that she does this or that when she goes home or remembers what she did in the past. She’s only 3 years of age.

another child at daycare that is still trying to learn to talk is talking a lot more than when he first came to daycare. When he first started he wasn’t talking at all and now today he talks and communicates a lot with everyone

There’s this one child that can’t really speak or make sentences, but everyday he tries he’s best to talk, lately I’ve seen a lot of progress of him speaking, he can say the colours and our names now. Makes me so proud when they start to learn new things everyday. When he can’t speak or say something he tents to whine or cry..

When this boy started daycare, he couldn’t even talk. But going everyday, ( Monday through Friday) he’s learning how to talk in sentences too, he makes me proud, he just learnt how to say colours, shapes and remembering our names.

At daycare, sharing is taught- I will see these 2 children excited for their friend to come and wait for them at their cubby to go and play, this is a toddler and a preschooler. They play together with each other most of the week.

And another child is friends with everyone at daycare, she might even consider them a best friend if they play long enough together. For most of the boys, they all will most likely play together and play cars.
