One of the most important historical occurrences, the Industrial Revolution had a tremendous impact on numerous countries around the world. Even though the Industrial Revolution started in Britain in the 18th century and continued for several decades after that, its effects are still felt in our daily lives. For instance, the Industrial Revolution sparked the emergence of socialist and labor movements, feminist movements, urbanization, our contemporary consumer society, and so on.
Since the Industrial Revolution's worldview supported fundamental individual rights and laissez-faire capitalism's principles, which is a socioeconomic system that defends no state interference, historians and philosophers frequently refer to it as classical liberalism.
