Because laws are observed by everyone, they are a natural aspect of the ethical system. As a member of my volleyball club, I’ve grown to be more receptive of feedback and to be teachable or coachable. I am open to learning new things and skills. As a team player, I’ve been very supportive of my teammates through their ups and downs such as the pressure we all face as a team during competition. As a team player, I am also cooperative. Values like these I have learned to bring into my world outside of volleyball. It has stuck with me through my learning and has deeply impacted my work ethic. 

In Secondary 3, as I work on my work ethic and started discovering my interests, I’ve came to know that I’m interested in forensic psychology. Growing up, I’ve always been watching crime shows with my family. Even now, I listen to true crime podcasts while doing my work. As someone who has been brought up knowing what’s right and what’s wrong, I’m interested in this because I truly want to know what criminals think or what pushes them to commit a crime. I’ve learnt that the world isn’t black and white, it isn’t evil and good and sometimes the lines blur between the two. I just want to explore my passion by learning more about it. Responsible: I always complete my tasks and always submit them on time. When I am given a responsibility I put in my best effort to make sure its done properly. 

I am passionate, dedicated and hardworking in doing what I love. My dedication and commitment can be proven by my experience in my CCA. I was not accepted into my CCA, dance, at first but because I was passionate about it, I decided to not give up and went to appeal for the CCA. Fortunately I was accepted but I had no experience in dance before, so I had to work hard to be able to earn my place. It was tough as I did felt discouraged at times but I persevered. Due to my hard work, I was able to represent my school to get a distinction grade and become the Vice President of the club. As of now, I have not found the right career/course for me as I am still exploring the different careers and courses. But when I do find the right course for me, I know that I would work hard and stay committed to my goal.
