The USS Potomac, had many different Owners including Elvis Presley, in 1980 the Potomac was seized and was sunken, it was later raised and was left at the East Bay Estuary it was saved by the Port of Oakland just a week before being sold as scrap. The Port of Oakland spent 5 Million dollars trying to restore the vessel in memorial of president Franklin D. Roosevelt
