I took my nephew on his first (kiddie) roller coaster. He held on to me for dear life then asked to go again. Later before we left I dragged my mom to biggest roller coaster in the park and she screamed the entire time while I laughed. She didn't ask to go again, actually she flat out refused to do anything like that ever again. We used to see kids all the time selling lemonade or Koolaid on the sidewalks of their houses during the summertime because it would get really hot during the summertime down there. I had the bright idea of selling these things called "Cool-Cups", which were essentially frozen Koolaid inside of styrofoam cups. 
I remember making a sign for it and everything and putting it on my front porch gate. This gave me a little over a month to write a speech that would be presented in front of 800 people. When the big day finally arrived I was so excited to see how far I had made it within the different communities I am active in. I was old enough to remember most of the trip, and now it is ingrained in my memory. Despite the hot weather, even the walk to Disneyland was one of my favorite moments. It was the first time I saw bamboo growing randomly and I freaked out, so apparently, we took a bit home and others followed. And once we were in the park, it was a whole new experience. I went on a large body water slide, had a traumatizing but amazing experience on a dark roller coaster, and went on a simulated San Francisco hang glider. Mind you, I thought the roller coaster ride was just space exploration, so I decided to ¨be brave¨ and take the first seat. Big mistake. The fast wind and dark motion was not great, but for some reason, I remember that fondly. Lastly, the funniest one was when I almost threw out my neck on a rocket simulation.
