The swedish homes provided safe places for the Jews under the ruling of “These houses are Swedish territory.” One time he actually stood in from a live rifle to save the Jews, Lastly while the Jews were on  the death marches he went and gave the Jews food and water.

A few ways include giving them papers protected by the Swedish government and giving housing that was protected. In addition he save them from the death marches, their deportation, and the service brigades for service. These action saved more than 100,000 Jews from the Nazis.
