One of my absolute favorite cultures is a part of Scuba diving. I have found it is one of the most welcoming and accepting cultures and communities. One of my favorite examples is recently traveling to California and being absolutely welcomed in their diving community. To me, diving is pure and unfiltered freedom. The ability to move in any direction and defy the laws of nature by breathing underwater is phenomenal. I currently play 4 instruments: Cello, Guitar, Bass, and Piano. The music culture is all around us constantly, in our media and outside life, and being able to create music is one of my favorite things. I find it's freeing creatively to make music out of an instrument. I have been very welcomed into the culture and it is very relaxing for me. Music allows me to connect with the entire world, one piece of music is read the same in a different place in the world. Another one of the cultures I surround myself with is art. I love to spend my free time sketching, painting, sculpting, and crocheting. (I also spin my own yarn). Creating art and being in the art culture have allowed me to process my ideas about the world and really transform my views on things. Being able to create even something simple is very freeing and relaxing for me.
