         <description><![CDATA[<div>In this unit, we will be discussing weather for one week. The study of weather is oftentimes associated with meteorology and climatology, which are both branches of earth science. Climatology evaluates how atmospheric changes impact Earth's climates. Meteorology hones in on the atmospheric effects on Earth's weather. Weather and climate are two different topics that are oftentimes confused, but we will be focusing on weather which is more closely correlated with meteorology. Earth science also includes the study of oceanography and geology.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Weather patterns have been observed for quite some time. The Babylonians began observing the clouds in order to predict the weather around 650 B.C. The Chinese created a calendar based off of weather patterns around 300 B.C. Later, Aristotle recorded his personal theories regarding basic weather patterns such as rain.
