Fact 1- The literacy rates are very low for women in Pakistan because they do not get as much education as the men. The exact Literacy rates in Pakistan are for men- 69.5% and for women-45.8%.
Fact 2-  Many people cannot afford the private schools and many people cannot even attend public due to distance or they drop out early to help the family.

Fact #1-   In the National Assembly of Pakistan, there are 60 seats reserved for women and 10 reserved for non-Muslims. The reason for this is that they want equal representation and diffeerent thoughts when making decisions.
Fact #2-  There are 4 provinces. ( think of them like states). Fact 1- The life expectancy at birth for men is 66.4 years and for women is 70.5 years which is lower than the U.S. This is because the U.S. has better medicine and is more advanced than a country like Pakistan. 
Fact 2-  The gender ratios show how there are more men in Pakistan then women since the rates are, at birth, 1.05 male/ female, ages 0-14, 1.06/female, ages 15-24- 1.06 male/female, ages 25-54, 1.08 male/female-  the biggest difference, and 55-64 is 1.01 male/female and lastly, 65 and over is .88 male/female, the only one with more women than men.

The earth quakes range from very severe to small non damageable ones. However, when the earthquake is very severe the damage is awful. 
Fact #2- Also in Pakistan, the Indus river can cause lots of floods. Fact #1- 42% of people are in the farming business. This is due too lack of resources for money to go into to higher, more thoughtful jobs.
