Happy Bottoms is a place that gives diapers to families in need of clean, fresh diapers. They provide them because 1 out of 2 families do not have clean, fresh diapers to use. They were created because the government doesn't give stamps for diapers.

Diapers have forced some families to cut back on essentials. Around 46 percent of families had to cut back on essentials like, food, clothes, and entertainment. Entertainment was the most cut back. The two other things most cut back on are, food and utilities like power,or gas.

Happy Bottoms impact many families, they change lives of many people they impact a total of 4,864,767 families. They help and impact many families in the need of diapers. They have also helped 431 kids get potty training.

Ongoing distribution

Happy Bottoms provides a monthly supply of 75 diapers or 50 training pants to children in need through more than 70 social service agency sites. Our distribution agencies provide healthcare, emergency assistance, education, childcare and case management services to families in need. They help the need of families that need a distribution to diapers for they can pay for diapers.

They distributed 44,820 Happy Pack Diapers in 2023 alone. Happy Pack Diapers are packs of 5 diapers of all sizes. Some sizes are 7, 8, and 1.

You can volunteer by going in person or hosting a diaper drive. When going in person, you make diaper kits for the families.

Our action plan is to go in person and help make diaper kits for the struggling families. Happy Bottoms will ship them out to their many different distribution centers. Then those families will get the diapers!

Happy Bottoms has been helping many families in need but, how can they support many families. You think they would need a whole crew! That is not true though Happy Bottoms crew is you. You can help Happy Bottoms more than you think donating 20$ may not seem like a lot but in Happy Bottoms vision it is. It also is a difference for families in need!

Diaper needs are all over the US. Daycare or childcare facilities will not allow mothers or fathers to drop off their kids. This has caused mothers and fathers to miss work. Around 38 percent in Missouri are single fathers or mothers, so you can imagine that it's pretty hard on those parents.

In Missouri alone, 31 percent of families have children under 3 receiving federal childcare support. The federal childcare support covers a lot of things, including bills, clothes and rent. They will have little or no money left over to buy clean diapers.

When these families choose they will, either get 75 diapers, or 50 training pants. Training pants will help the toddlers go from diapers to underwear. This will also lift a huge burden on the families so they won't have to worry about the transition to underwear.

Not having diapers can cause health and hygiene problems for babies and toddlers. Those problems can be, diaper rash, and urinary tract infections. Sometimes, those families might not even have money to help cure those rashes and infections.

When you have a new born the most necessary thing is food and diapers but, what is? Have I told you how much people spend on diapers in a year? People spend a total of 840$ a year. This is a lot of money for a necessary thing which some people can't even pay for. Luckily Kansas City has provided us with an organization for others who can't pay for those necessary things.

Happy Bottoms has distributed over 26,558,767 diapers since 2009. Around 21,000 kids in KC don't have clean diapers. Those 75 distribution centers help get those 26,558,767 diapers to those 21,000 kids.

Babies use 8,000 to 6,000 diapers for their first 2 to 3 years. This is a lot of diapers, which means a lot of money. This is why we have Happy Bottoms!

Some kids use 6-8 diapers a day. That could make those families only use less than 1 diaper a day. Some need to be changed pretty often. If a kid stays in a dirty diaper for longer than a few minutes, it could harm them, giving them a diaper rash or worse.

Babies usually cried because of discomfort including diapers! They need to be changed as they can.They get upset by the fact they don't have a clean diaper!

Many babies are tired during the day! This can be easy for them to fall asleep if they are in a clean diaper! As for when they are not, they seem to be crying in discomfort.
