We still need to make sure students are learning and it can be a mix or even using low tech "answer the question". That face-to-face time was critical for meeting kids at their level of understanding.

The other big connection I made was teaching kids the technology. We tend to throw around the term digital natives, and that wasn’’t necessarily the kiddos I had in class.  Teaching kids productivity apps and how to use the effectively took a lot of time in initially starting the class in online learning. Keeping it simple is critical - having a few go-to apps/websites helped kiddos interact more efficiently.
