Location: Zhangye Danxia is located in Sunan and Linze counties within the prefecture-level city of Zhangye, in Gansu, China
Geomorphic Process: Layers of different colored sandstone and minerals were pressed together over 24 million years ago and then buckled up by tectonic plates
Why visit it: It is  the largest and best China Danxia landform with richest landscape modeling. Landscape: Tropical Forest
Location: off the coast of Belize. It lies near the center of Lighthouse Reef
Geomorphic process: It was originally a limestone cave during the last glacial period, at these times the sea level was extremely low. A while after that the ocean began to rise it flooded the cave system which caused it to collapse. That then caused the ocean create a vertical cave. The leftover limestone broke down, it then began to rain tiny fragments of rock, which slowly began to fill in the great blue hole
Why visit it: The Great Blue Hole of Belize, one of the world's most famous diving destinations. Geomorphic Process: The geomorphic process began to start forming around about 40-50 million years ago. It started because of the collision of the Indian plate with the Eurasian plate. That's how the Himalayas formed.
