The Boy Scouts of America was founded in 1910 as part of the international Scout Movement.

The end goal of the Boy Scouts of America is to train youth in building character, and train them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develop personal fitness.

The Boy Scouts of America has impacted over 110 million boys lives since the beginning of the BSA. The BSA wants young boys grow up into men and know the proper values and responsibilities that comes with manhood. We see the Boy Scouts most often in our lives selling popcorn, learning how to communicate with others an work as a team.

The BSA learn how to treat for others and to make themselves useful to society and anyone who needs help. This is like the apostles who went out and spread the word of Jesus. The apostles too needed apprentices for when they would die. The young boys as apprentices to teach others how to life a good meaningful life.

A volunteer can do as little as over see a group of kids or do more and speak to the kids. An adult speaking to the kids about the values they are learning is most important in the mission of changing the lives of these young children.
