My Answer: The Cahuilla were listed in the reading as trading clay posts with neighboring tribes. The Mojave traded but the text didn’t say which tribe so the closest tribe was the most likely tribe to have contact. The blue arrows are trading tribes not blocked by the mountain ranges. The central valley tribes likely all traded with each other since there were no mountainous obstacles. The pacific coastal tribes also likely traded with their nearest neighbors since they shared the same slightly mountainous, elevated terrain. The other tribes near each other that have no blue arrows were separated by mountain ranges.
