I was met with mixed responses. Some of my peers said that they would be very depressed because by achieving their goals they gain happiness, where as other said that they're mindset was stronger than that. According to him, happiness was making sure his family was financially stable and that he made it to college. From this interview I gained a new perspective on what happiness meant. Although Santiago did not complete his goal of catching a giant fish and bringing it home to shore, the journey and the experience of finally catching a fish was enough to satisfy his happiness. This is what I have been saying the entire activity. Its not about completing the goal, but its about the journey it takes to get there.
