It was finally the big day! Me and Hannah are trying out for a High Performance Training Camp that can possibly pave a way for us to try out for Team Great Britain. As we were putting our bathing suits on I got really nervous and felt butterflies in my stomach, but I just tried to relax and not think about it. Hannah went first and as I was getting ready for my turn I began to feel sick and scared. Before I knew it, it was my turn and I was headed to line up with the rest of the girls I was racing against. When the starting pistol banged I dove hard, and as I was swimming all I could think about was to keep swimming harder and faster I looked around me and didn't see anyone, but that didn't stop me from still swimming as fast as I could. When I finished I looked behind me and didn't see anyone in the water... I thought "was I last? or was I first?" but when I turned back around to face Hannah I noticed that all the other girls were standing in the pool waiting for me! I was last, I wondered how this could have happened I tried so and trained so hard for this!

Its been 3 weeks, since me and Hannah tried out for the High Performance Training Camp, it has also been three weeks since I swam. Ever since I didn't get into the camp and Hannah did I haven't really felt like swimming or doing anything to be honest. But, now that school is starting I have to get out of my bed for the first time and I am not looking forward to it. All I can think about is how people are going to make fun of me and talk about how I didn't make it into the camp. Lav keep saying nobody will care weather you made it or not, but honesty I don't know if I believe her or not. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Every since I made it into the High Performance Training Camp and Lou didn't I have been trying to text her every chance I can, but I don't think she is over the fact that she didn't make it so I try and not talk about swimming. Honestly, it isn't as fun here as I thought it would be, all the girls do is talk about swimming non stop and it is kind of getting annoying. There are all these strict rules like we can only eat a certain amount of calories in a day, we are also always practicing and I don't think I am getting enough sleep. I guess I will just tough in up though because my parents won't come and get me, they say they don't want me to "regret it in the future". I just can't wait till I get home and can see Lou, I am really starting to miss her a lot right now.

I have been her for a little while now, and to be completely honest I am hating it. My times are getting worse, I feel sick almost all of the time, I am always nervous for some reason, and I haven't seen a carb in days I don't know how much more of this I can take. It has become almost a daily thing now where I ask my parents to come get me and that I don't want to be here anymore but they just keep saying the same thing I am either being dramatic or they don't want me to regret it in the future its so stupid. Eventually I decide that I should tell Lou everything that is going on with me, and she is really supportive and ask me if she should tell my parents obviously I tell her no. But within the same week Lou calls me and tells me that she is outside of the training camp to come and get me out of there. I guess now I am free which is amazing and I can eat all the carbs I want to, now I just need to figure out a way to tell my parents I left.

While me, Roman, and Pete were kicking around the soccer ball I noticed this girl swimming in the community pool that was next to us and she was really good. I told the guys that we should ask her if she could be our coach for Britain's Hidden Talents, and they agreed. When we walked into the community pool we asked what the girls name was and her name was Lou, then we asked if she was a swimmer I thought to myself "in order to be doing the tricks she was doing she has to be", I was right she said she used to be I wondered why she wasn't anymore but I guess I thought I shouldn't ask her since I don't know her that well yet. Luckily, Lou said she could help us train for Britain's Hidden Talent good thing she said she would because auditions are next weekend.

After a week and a half of practicing our routine I think we finally got the hang of it and its starting to look good. On top of everything that was going on we are becoming really good friends with Lou and having fun times while practicing for our routine which made everything more fun. Me and Lou went to the mall together to go shopping for the bathing suits that we would wear for our performance. Before we all knew it, it was time to perform our routine in front of the judges, we were all excited. We ended up making it to the finals which was very exciting for all of us. I am just so glad that we asked Lou to be our coach because none of this would have been possible without her.
