Langkawi Island is also synonymous with the title or legend of the island is among the most popular tourist destinations in Malaysia. Langkawi Island is located in the state of Kedah. Langkawi Island distance from the state capital of Kedah, Alor Setar is 70 kilometers. Langkawi Island is the perfect location to visit for those who want peace and enjoy something new. Langkawi Island has a special place, a special place is not available elsewhere.

Pulau Langkawi also have many beautiful and famous beach such as Pantai Tanjung Rhu, Pantai Tengah, Pantai Cenang, and so on. I will tell about the best part of Pantai Cenang. Pantai Cenang was the most beautiful beach that Pulau Langkawi had. It is undescriable because you will see such a beautiful nature. Many people and tourist go there because it has many attractions and very beautiful. We can do many things at there. First of all, obviously we must enjoy the sea and beach. The sea was very clear and fresh. We can feel the breeze of wind and fresh air. The stress from our body will released like wind. Our body and mind will feel much better. We can see the bottom of the sea and beautiful creature such as fish, starfish, and so on. We also can do many activities at the sea. The “must try” activity we should do is parasailing, jetsky, riding a banana boat, and kayak. I bet you will experience something that you will never forget it in your life. We can also shopping at there. There are many good shops that providing many various items. Lastly, it have many good resort that very comfortable and the price very affordable. I am sure you will be very pleased and enjoy the place very well.

The second place that I have been in Langkawi is Makam Mahsuri which is situated 12 kilometre from Kuah. Makam mahsuri is the legend and a major attraction not to be missed. It is museum built to honor a beautiful lady, Mahsuri who was unjustly accused of adultery. According to the legend, when executed, she bled with white blood as a sign of her innocence. There is a single white marble tomb in a beautiful landscape garden. The museum also display a large portrait of Mahsuri, some of her precious jewels and the weapon from which she was executed. Mahsuri laid a curse at Langkawi that the island will stay barren for the next seven generations. Now, the seven generations have passed and Langkawi has developed and flourished well as a tourist spot.

The another attract a lot of visitor is The Underwater World Langkawi. An underwater world Langkawi a marine showcase featuring both fresh and salt water fish and other forms of marine life, is a must-see attraction. Located at Pantai Cenang, a popular beach on the island, this aquarium features more than 5,000 types of marine life, exhibited in more than 100 tanks of different sizes.

The highlight is a giant tank housing large marine species such as sharks, stingrays, groupers and green turtles, with a 15-metre tunnel for visitors to walk through and enjoy a spectacular view of the exhibits. Underwater gardens of weeds and sea plants together with exotic fishes and exhibits or fossils and shells add to the range of interesting sights.

In conclusion, Langkawi island has its own charm and unforgettable for every tourist who comes in either local or foreign tourists. This is because, it can give a sweet memories when it comes to travel to the island. Attendance every travel very worthwhile places to visit such as Langkawi Crystal, Galeria Perdana, Lang Square, Well Seven etc.

With packages available, each travel will not feel loss for travelling in Langkawi because tourists do not have a long time to rest because in Langkawi area and places of interest and activity that is sure to make visitors excited to come back.

   5b7W)Il

Penang is a very well-known place among the tourists. They would definitely stop by at this beautiful Food Paradise island as it has a lot of interesting places as well as delicious foods to try. Penang has been already well known in the world for its famous 13.5km length bridge which connects the mainland to the island. Another mode of transportation to travel to and fro the island is the ferry, which would mesmerize the visitors for its wonderful cool breeze sea. Penang stands as a very interesting place for its buildings, amazing places, delicious food as well as the wonderful beaches.

Georgetown, the capital of Penang, is located on the north east corner of Penang Island. This town has been chosen as the capital since it accommodates a lot of well-known heritage and historical buildings which were left over by the British. Another amazing sky scratcher, in the island will be the Komtar Tower. It is also located at the heart of Georgetown, which most of the parts in the building is being utilised for public government service. The dominating and fascinating skyline, which stands by 65th storey, allow us to see a very attractive scenery of the whole Penang from its top. It would be definitely a great sight-seeing experience though.

Penang is also known as the Heritage Walking Georgetown because of the places including the KekLok Si Temple, Cheong FattTze Mansion, Penang War Museum, classic cafes and many more. The KekLok Si temple, in Ayer Hitam is the largest Buddhist temple in the whole Southeast Asia. The hill top temple mesmerizes millions people from all over the world as it has a very fascinating structure of building and filled with beautifully landscaped gardens and people would still be wondering how they manage to build such temple at that critical confined landmark.

Penang is very famous for its delicious food which is prepared by all the locals that comes from multi races which are Malays, Chinese and Indians. Items like ‘laksa’, ‘aiskacang’, ‘satay’ and ‘char koeytiow’ have already be the attractive items among the foreigners. These finger licking foods have some extraordinary attraction among the visitors for its taste as well as for its reasonable pricing.

Penang is a gifted island as it is surrounded by amazing beaches. BatuFerringhi, where it has the most number of 5-starred hotels since this place is the centre of excitement among the tourist throughout the year. This place has been developed tremendously as the recreational spot with the resorts, restaurants and stalls that were made especially for the tourists and visitors. Besides, a lot of exciting beach activities have been prepared alongside the beach with very affordable rates.

Many things to describe about Penang but one should visit by themselves to experience the real taste of the so called ‘heaven’ of Malaysia. The enigma and charm that the island possess can easily make you fall in love with her at the first sight.

GROUP 9 : THE MOST INTERESTING PLACE THAT I HAVE VISITED (PENANG)

NURUL FATIHAH ATIRAH BINTI SULAIMAN@SUHAIMI
MUHAMMAD ASRAF BIN MASKOR (D20131063196)
NUR SAADAH BINTI IBRAHIM (D20131064486)
MUHAMMAD ARIFF AFDHAL BIN HAIRUN ANUAR (D20131064958)
YOONG YOK MEI (D20131063176)

Today as we know, there are many place which is interesting to visit especially if it have the beauty island. Place which is have beauty island such as PulauLangkawi, PulauTiomanPulauPerhentian, PulauSipadan at Sabah and so on. The place which is have the beauty island is interesting to visit because besides beauty it also a peace place to rest our mind, but there is one of the most interesting place that I have visited. The place is Pulau Pinang. PulauPinang is known as the pearl of the orient which is one of the most touristic of Malaysia.

Humanity today is regressing. Whatever steps we take forward, they take us back as human beings. We live in a world that, although it has borders, it is limitless. We live in a world that, finally, recognizes all religions and beliefs and in which any person can choose his or her religion. People can worship any god, can praise the energy of nature that inspire them without feeling threatened or scared. They still a child and still young, they does not know about life. People may look at this post and turn away, as they are tired of hearing about all the deaths in the Congo, Palestine, Syria and Iraq. We want change, we want this to stop and we want to make this world a better place for the next. The issue is till when all of this will stop?. At the end, I cannot say that this issue is beyond my realm of understanding. On the other hand, I cannot claim to understand in any substantial way what it means to be a Syrian refugee unless I have experienced that reality for myself, which I never will. If we can accept this perspective and commit to helping those in need, we may yet reclaim our humanity.

First of all, the history of Penang. The island of Penang was once a pirate haven, belonging to the Kedah Sultanate. Between 1758 and 1777, fighting continuously erupted between Siam and Burma. The Kedah Sultanate appealed to the British for assistance. As inducements to a commitment, the Sultan of Kedah promised to lease Penang Island to the East India Company. Captain Francis Light was appointed to propose this to the British Governor General in Calcutta. Nevertheless, before an agreement was formed, Light landed on Penang Island (at the Esplanade), hoisted the Union Jack and took formal possession of the island. In the early 16th century, Portuguese traders have been sailing to the Far East searching for spices. They came across a small uninhabited island where they could replenish fresh water supplies, which they then named it “PuloPinaom”.

When in Penang we don’t worried about food because Penang is one place that can be called a food paradise. This is so because in Penang there are plenty of food and it is very cheap. In 2004, Penang was recognized as having the Best Street Food in Asia by Time magazine. The cuisine is available in Penang such as Chinese, Nyonya, Malay and Indian ethnic mix of Malaysia, but also shows the influence of Thailand. The best places to enjoy a meal including Penang Gurney Drive, Pulau Tikus, New Lane, , Penang Road, Chulia Street, Raja Uda and Chai Leng Park over on the mainland. Among the dishes that are popular in Penang is Laksa Penang, Nasi Kandar, Char Kway Teow, rojak and cendol.

Also if you visit Penang, one of the place that you should visit is Bukit Bendera. It is one off the interesting place that you can visit if you go to Penang. Bukit Bendera is a historical place in Penang. The attraction in Bukit Bendera is the Love Lock. It is the current attraction that have in Bukit Bendera. Love Lock is usually a couple place that where the put they lock as symbolize that they lock they love each other forever over there. It was the most popular place in Bukit Bendera right now. Also in Bukit Bendera, you also can visit a heritage place. In Bukit Bendera the have one bungalow that leave by British. The design of bungalow is so beautiful. If you want go to Bukit Bendera you can via train. That also one of the attraction in Bukit Bendera.

In conclusion, the most interesting place that I have visited is Penang. Do you realize that I was so lucky to travel such a beautiful place? Penang is a amazing place that I never go before. Penang give me a lot of memory that I never feel before. Not only food that you can found at there, but also more interesting activities when you reach there and you no need to spend too much because everything here is so cheap. It wasn’t unexpected place that give me a lot experience and know more about Penang culture. Thanks to my family and my friends who recommend me and bring me here the nice place ever.

We spent our vacations at an island because Malaysia owns among the gorgeous islands in the whole world, namely Langkawi. It’s one of the most beautiful island in the world and also a duty free island. The Isles of Legends, situated in the state of Kedah, which also consists of a cluster of 99 islands. The island is so popular with its captivating beaches, Lang Square symbol, Langkawi Cable Car and also the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA). The scenery was very beautiful and the air also fresh. The island looks like a paradise and I think we chose the right place to spend our trip together.

We arrived on Sunday morning and went to our first destination which is Pantai Cenang. Pantai Cenang was located 25 km west of Kuah. This place is the most popular area in Langkawi and had attract lots of tourist to come here. With the crystal clear of the sea water, the golden of the sand and also the shady of every trees at there, make us feel very calm and wash away our tired of works. Besides, there were also activities provided for those who loves challenging activities such as jet skis, parasailing, banana boats and also surfing. We tried the parasailing and also the banana boats. And this were our first experience trying those two activities which is really awesome. The price were affordable for students like us. Its cost around RM 100 only per person for those two activities. After that, on the evening, we went to the Underwater World which is located at the southern end of Pantai Cenang and also not too far from our origin destination. The entrance fee is RM33.00 per person for adults. In there, we can see variety of marine life closely through glass aquarium. The most attractive one in here is the penguins because its habitat are not from our country Malaysia. You can feed the penguins but you will have to pay the fees for this opportunity. We do not have that chance to feed the penguins because we don’t have enough time since we came there already late in the evening. The Underwater World closed sharply at 6.30 pm.

On the next day, we visited Haji Ismail Group Complex (HIG) to get all varieties of chocolates of all brands, and because they are cheap. We found well-loved brands such as Hershey, Cadbury’s, Ritter Sports, Toblerone and many others. They are cheaper than even the Zon duty free shops that you will find at various places in the island. After we spend our money to duty-free price, a sight that greets visitors to the island via ferry is Eagle Square is also one of the places that we visited. Eagle Square is the main squares symbol or landmark for Langkawi Island. On the Eagle Square, there is a monument eagle altitude of 12 meters and we did not miss to make a memories at that late in the evening when the sun is at its least intense. At night, the Eagle Square was filled with neon lights light radiation. The scenery around the Eagle Square is fabulous. Surrounded with awesome friends and having a wonderful sight was such memorable.

On Tuesday, we went to watch LIMA. LIMA is an event that take place once every two years makes us choose to take apart there. We had heard about it before but never had the chance to watch it live. So when an opportunity to travel to LIMA came up, it seemed like our gold chance to go. On this day, the official event haven’t starts yet as there were only rehearsals. We got excited watching the rehearsals as this is our first experience watching LIMA event. For the opening ceremony, we were treated to a couple of The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) rehearsals. Next is The Indonesia Air Force display team, take a place for practice. There are also lots of other teams. Feeling tired and hungry, we went back to hotel to take a rest and grab our lunch. We spent the rest of our day in hotel and some strolling at nearby area. Next morning, we start getting impatient and excited to witness the performances LIMA. We do not want to miss the moments full of meaning and history. Ceremony went smoothly without any accidents because preparations were conducted by all those involved. We took the opportunity to take a few photos with crews involved and some amazing new aircraft as sweet memories. So tired to be there all day but it's a satisfaction to us, especially to me who have long wished to visit LIMA.

Our last destination is the Langkawi Cable Car, also known as SkyCab is one of the major attractions in Langkawi. The cable car ride is one of the most unforgettable thrills we have experienced because it can takes us to the top of mount Mat Cincang in about 15 minute with 708 meters above sea-level. The gondola cable car system was selected as it permitted a long span of over 900 metres. Despite the long que and a bit crowded, the situation there were well handled by the staffs. We really enjoyed the gondola ride and it was fantastic with the last part steepest cable in the world. Travelling the skies on a clear day of Langkawi offered us with breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys, islands and the Andaman Sea. It is one of the most awesome cable car that we had rides on our last day trips.

Last day of the trips makes us feel really sad to make a move from an awesome island. We arrived at Kuah Jetty at 2pm after took a lunch, we really enjoyed this trip because we can spend time together and do lots of thing together. Other than that, this trip also can strengthen our relationships because we can do activities together. Furthermore, we hope to visit Langkawi again so that we can experience other events and festivals such as Le Tour De Langkawi and Langkawi International Water Festivals.

The weather is so pretty cold because it has highest altitude and gives the tourists always refresh from the packed town.

One of the best main attraction in Cameron Highlands is Agro Technology Park (MARDI). It located in Tanah Rata and was established by the British in 1925. Almost 65,000 visitors visited the park each year.
