I'm here today to persuade you that we should save the eight-year-old girl， she's like a thriving sapling as a little girl.

She is a certified genius who should grow up well, contribute to the future of human society. According to the data, the proportion of smart people and geniuses in the population is very small. The number of geniuses is even smaller, around 0.01%, or one in ten thousand. Specifically, based on different data and research, the proportion of people with an IQ of over 140 in the population is between 0.003% and 0.01%, which is really rare. Therefore, we should cherish the gift bestowed by heaven and cultivate talented girls who are only 8 years old.

Secondly, as the daughter of a millionaire, she has certain rights，if we don't save her, we maybe will be threatened by her parents.

Wisdom comes from diligence, and genius comes from accumulation. As the saying goes, if a child has the talent of genius, they should continue to accumulate, so they should be given the opportunity to live.

Compared to homeless people, wealthy families are more likely to survive. Even if we save the homeless person, the probability of their subsequent death is much higher than that of wealthy people

So I want to save this little girl. I hope you can do the same as me and save a child's future. Let's witness the growth of a genius together.

Speech 3 Smoking Should be Illegal

We can't imagine a world that every people are smoking there. It's necessary to make smoking be illegal. However, if smoking were absolutely prohibited by law, I believe the air in the world would be much cleaner and the average life expectancy of people around the globe would be much higher. Next I'm going to talk about the two biggest reasons why we need to ban smoking.

First , smoking is harmful to our health. It will course a lot of different disease, if u are lucky u also will have yellow teeth, but if u unlucky it will cause the cancer or something nastier . Besides, what we know as lung cancer, smoking also increases risk for tuberculosis, certain eye diseases, and problems of the immune system, including rheumatoid arthritis.According to the report, consistent smokers have a 16% chance of dying of lung cancer by age 75, 50 times higher than non-smokers, who have a 0.3% chance. Not only does smoking lead to ongoing complications and long-term effects on the body's systems, it also has some immediate effects, such as decreased blood flow to fingers and toes, decreased skin temperature, and bad breath. Data released by the World Health Organization show that 8 million people die globally each year from smoking and second-hand smoke exposure, with one person dying from a smoking-related disease every four seconds. More than 7 million of these deaths are due to direct smoking and 1.2 million non-smokers die from exposure to second-hand smoke.

Like I just said. Besides, smoking is bad for ourselves. Smoking will also affect the health of those around smokers, and the environment. Health problems caused by secondhand smoke in adults who do not smoke include coronary heart disease, stroke, and lung cancer, as well as adverse reproductive health effects in women, including low birth weight. Smoking also has a non-trivial impact on the environment and an immeasurable and significant impact on nature. For example, US tobacco industry produces 16 million metric tons of carbon dioxide in one year – global tobacco production quadruples that amount. For comparison, one car produces 4 million times less.

Why do we agree that smoking is legal when we already know that it causes so many problems for us and for our common home, the Earth? There are many benefits of banning smoking, which is both good for ourselves as human beings and good for the world! Therefore, smoking should be illegal.
