Over the next 12 weeks build your skills in the area of Instructional Design through a series of activities. The items in the padlet are worked on like a solitaire game week by week as a self directed learning piece.

How this would work is every week review the activities in the padlet for the week and work your way through them.

If you have any questions, reach out to your manager, buddy or one of your colleagues.

The purpose of the next 12 weeks is to add tools to your toolkit so that you are set up for success as an Instructional Designer (ID).

Book in some time with one of the Instructional Designers for an hour every week to find out

4.       How do we add voice?

5.       How to edit?

6.       How to conduct UAT?

Spend time with one of the Instructional Designers to see how to run UAT on a course. Learn where this is recorded.

4.Articulate Storyline essential training

Go into Articulate and duplicate a course so that you practice building an elearn in Rise (you should have already requested this software to be installed on your PC)

Call the file TEST_YOUR NAME

Practice putting in content, video and images

Prepare questions that you can ask one of the Senior Id’s (set up a meeting for the following week)

Spend time with one of the ID’s to see what a typical day involves

Continue to work on your practice elearn in Articulate

Get feedback on  your elearns from one of the ID’s

Book a time with Shri in Governance to understand how governance impacts design

Request to complete the ‘Gallup Strengths’ to get an insight into your work style

Don't forget to write your reflections in your learning journal at the end of each week.
