1. Don't leave water running: although this seems like it doesn't have much to do with water pollution, the more water we save the less chances there are of that water becoming polluted in the future. So next time you brush your teeth turn the water off. Or when you shower, move efficiently to save water and don't waste time.
2. Use environmentally friendly products: of course this option isn't available for everything. Even though they're more expensive, by using products that are environmentally friendly you help keep pollution out of our water and keep the environment safer.

The water bottle that was the kept the freshest and was the safest to drink at the end of the week was the closed one in the mild temperature. However, the other two water bottles are not the best regarding water quality. The one in direct sunlight became very hot and developed a lot of condensation in the bottle. The open water bottle had collected dust, a bug, and some other particles floating around it. While you could probably still drink the warm water, it probably isn't the best for you because it isn't cold or room temperature. While the open water bottle shouldn't be consumed at all.
