With CLIL the learning of a curricular subject in a foreign language has great advantages in terms of students' learning outcomes and cognitive processes. 
 CLIL is spreading more and more in many countries. In order to implement this innovative approach, the role of teacher training is essential. 

In this EVO session teachers can improve CLIL methodology, teaching strategies, prove new technical tools. They can also  reflect and discuss with teachers from all over the world and share good practices.

Session Objectives 

• read about and discussed the theory, methodology and practice behind a CLIL approach

• considered how to plan CLIL class activities using the Internet and 2.0 web tools

• consider and discuss teaching and assessing learners studying through a CLIL approach

• reflect upon their awareness of what CLIL is and on how to teach through it.

- poste your favourite webtool on DOTSTORMING WALL and voted for your colleagues' posts.
- Update your Digital Portfolio

- read the material
- created your lesson plan using LEARNING DESIGNER
- post the link to your LEARNING DESIGNER in a post on the LEARNING DESIGNER FORUM.
- comment on a colleague' lesson plan attaching the peer assessment grid to a new post in the PEER REVIEW FORUM.
- update your DIGITAL PORTFOLIO!

Participants will be guided to explore the potential of extensive reading to conceive a CLIL lesson.

Books and ebooks can offer effective links to curricular subjects.
Tasks:
Let’s work on extensive reading

- read the material
- explored some of the webtools for reading/writing/vocabulary proposed and post at least an example of your activities in WEEK 4 Forum (link, screenshot, comments etc.)
- posted your  "Extensive Reading in CLIL lesson plan" in the devoted database.

Participants aere guided to find resources such as videos and other materials in order to build up a repository of good practices and Open Educational Resources to be used in innovative CLIL environments (BYOD; Flipped Classroom).
Tasks: Let’s work on a CLIL repository

- fill in the form in the Techno-CLIL Repository of lessons

- make an audio/video-narration of a Techno-CLIL lesson or activity, using images, voice, sounds, animations etc. The result should be a multimedia product showing your creativity and the competences developed through the course.
A second alternative may an audio/video-narration of the most important steps of your experience in Techno-CLIL.
