What did you learn about your topic that surprised you the most?

I knew quite a bit on this topic before doing research. However the main lesson learned is not to use a debit card for transactions and that they are not as safe as credit cards are. Also, I did not consider how unsafe ATMS could be. I considered them secure and safe but reading the articles Brough insight of how hackers use the feeling of security to strike.

2. Relevancy of Topic or what did you find Interesting?
 I share relevance to this topic because I have a friend who know somebody who has had a data breach, forcing him to freeze his accounts to prevent any further losses done to his account, the bank immediately locked all his cards to protect his account and notified him immediately he was then called into the bank to talk over his account policy and reinforce his account. In his opinion he believes that the situation was handled appropriately and he still banks with the same bank to this day since they helped him trace the problem back to its roots. The bank agency assured him that the same mistake wouldn't occur, and that more precautions would be taken towards his account. He decided to stay with the bank because they attempted to solve the problem and simply the complexity taken place.
3. If you could pass on your knowledge to a family member or friend, what do you think is the most important factor to pass on?

3. I think the most important factor to pass on is to be very cautious in who you trust. Often people are there for you, for the wrong reasons, money being the main one. Never share personal banking data with anyone even if you think they can be trusted because everyone holds betrayal</sub></sup>.
