This was user-friendly and easy to upload. The storage space online is no problem for us, and the transcripts/subtitles make my videos more accessible and searchable. I got to see each "smiley face emoticon" and when it was inserted, I got to tabulate each vote made on the polls, and, most importantly, I got to go back and read the short answers contributed to the open-ended questions. There are lots of new ways for audiences to interact with Aha, and I hope it continues to innovate to keep the novelty fresh. While it is the only resource that costs money on our lists, I do think it is worthwhile, and sharing a login might be a good idea for you and your chums.

I wish I had read the fine print about the cost before playing around with it as I do not know that I can justify the cost unless I thought I would use it on a regular basis. I also thought that it would be incredibly useful for the Academic Decathlon program as it would allow me to create interactive presentations that would also give me instant feedback and engage the students. So really, this app engages students, provides feedback, and builds community all at once.

You can also import videos you already have on your computer or from YouTube. Once those videos are there, you can embed them into pretty much any Canvas application - Quizzes, Discussion Boards, Assignments, and Pages.

What's reeeaally cool about Studio though is that with any of those videos you add to Studio, you can then turn them into a quiz by adding questions at specific points directly into the video (much like how EdPuzzle functions). Using the videos in this way allows your students to gain instant feedback about their level of understanding of the video content.
