I chose this issue because he says that language is a form of communication throughout a certain community. He also says that people with similar struggles or have had their identity dampened in the same manner essentially speak the same language. Lastly, this issue fits the most common definition of language in that many people of the same culture may speak the same language.

Community and communication go hand in hand -- whether it's written language of a culture, or something that everyone can relate to. People in the TED Talk were able to identify with a specific group (disconnect, love, financial struggle, isolation, etc), based off of something as simple as experience, and it brought them together in the moment as a community.

Language in this sense has to deal with society and individual experience.

Language can relate to culture because if someone on comes from a different culture their not going to speak the same way as someone coming from a different culture.
