Bring working with children check
Water bottle and lunch
Come with all documents printed and ready
this includes - parent consent form, attendance, introduction poster, safety checklist and one week of planning cycle (part a only)
Talk to the mentor about your requirements (tell them about the 15 days of full responsibility that you have to do, so you can look at the documents they use at the earliest convenience.
Talk to mentor about what times you should come in. ( this might change with different days)
Talk to mentor about times to meet. ( some mentors are busy all day but have time they can set aside for your questions. It's important to establish a time to meet.
Intrudes yourself to as many people possible ( say hello /goodmoring I'm.… I'm doing my placement here I look forward to working with you) to everyone

Complete 3 observations.

Complete 1 reflective practice document.

Practice at least 2 responsibilities.

Be completely involved and engaged with children.

Know all children names.

Fill the attendance sheet.

Be familiar with all staff.

Know the fire evacuation procedure.

Know the supervision plan.

Know the number of children in the room.

Know how to set up the place.

Know food allergies and individual diets.

Know the routines
