The small intestine takes in the water from the food, and the faeces go to the rectum where they are stored, until the faeces are forced out of the anus.

Saliva-Breaks down food in the mouth and absorbs any starch in the food
Oesophagus-The oesophagus a tube through which food goes through into the stomach

Stomach-A organ which breaks down the food and breaks down-absorbs any proteins in the food, the stomach also erases any harmful bacteria in your food, the piece of a food is now a liquid called chyme

Liver-The liver is an organ where a enzyme called bile is produced, bile breaks down and absorbs any fat in the body, this happens in the small intestine

Pancreas-Releases digestive juices(enzymes) which break down other nutrients in your food, this happens in the small intestine

Gallbladder-This is where bile is stored before entering the small intestine.

Small Intestine-Main place where all the enzymes break down the chyme.

Large Intestine-This is where water is absorbed into the body from the chyme.

Rectum-The uneeded remaining nutrients go the rectum, where they are made into faeces, these faeces enetr out through the anus.

The nervous system, in animals like humans, is very important as it helps the organism to respond to the environment around it.

Neurons are the main type of cell found in the nervous system and have the basic animal cell structure and contain organelles like a nucleus, cytoplasm and are surrounded by a cell membrane. They are long and thin. They are able to carry electrical impulses which act as messages around the body.  

Many neurones bundle together to make long thin bundles of tissue called nerves. These can carry the electrical impulses a long distance in a very short amount of time.

The main organs of the nervous system are the brain and the spinal cord. Messages are sent along nerve fibres to and from the brain to control what the body does.

The circulatory system in animals like humans is very important as it transports blood around the body. This carries oxygen and glucose around your body. These are essential for the cells in your body to survive.

The heart is the main organ of the circulatory system. It sends blood around your body through tube like organs called blood vessels. 

The heart is an organ that is made from muscle tissue. This muscle tissue is made of millions of muscle cells. The heart beats because it is made from muscle and this causes the heart to pump blood all around the body.

The muscle cells of the heart have a basic animal cell structure and contain organelles like a nucleus, cytoplasm and are surrounded by a cell membrane.

Nose-Air enters into the nose due to the lung's movement, in the nose most particles and bacteria are filtered out by the villi on the inside lining of the nose, in the nose due to specific nerves being there, we can smell.


Trachea-The trachea is a long tube through which air enters into the lung-bronchioles.

Lung-The organ which contains bronchioles and villi, this organ contracts to inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide.

Bronchioles-Small series of tubes which are in the lungs, all bronchioles lead to a villi.

Villi-The villi is a organ through which the blood(which has carbon dioxide) diffuse through the thin layer of the villi, while oxygen diffuses into the blood capillaries surrounding the villi, oxygenating the blood.
