Resolutions are big here, New years resolutions in American are normally like weight-loss and to be a better person, but in other countries they're different. January 1st is not a Federal holiday in the United States, although some states do count it such as Kentucky, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Most schools will call this day off as well. </div>]]></description>

New year's eve is normally the time that most American's would through a party to celebrate the new year together which normally involves drinking and kissing at the strike of midnight (12). In New York, they drop a ball at the strike of midnight (12) which is also considered a party.</div>]]></description>
