  • This artwork was made by Amedeo Modigliani and it's called head of the woman in particular he was inspired by African and ancient Greek sculpture. 
  • It was done in 1909 when he started to made this type of sculptures and nowadays we can find this art in Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza (Madrid).
  • It has relief and it is standing I think but only shows the head.

    -Topic:Gala, wife and muse of Salvador Dalí, levitates asleep on a rock in a calm seascape. Under his naked body there are also two drops of water and a pomegranate around which a bee flutters. The buzz of the bee causes a dream in Gala, which materializes in the upper part by the explosion of another grenade from which a fish comes out of whose mouth, in turn, two enraged tigers and a bayonet emerge. It is this weapon that, a second later, will wake up Gala from her peaceful rest. Although in 1944 Dalí lived in the United States and barely painted, in this work he takes up his "paranoid-critical method" which, following Freudian theories, defended the multiplicity of meanings of images and which made him one of the main members of the group surreal.
