Those were only phrases for me and i never understood their true meaning but always thought beauty could be subjective or objective. But my perception changed when i visited Kashmir in 2019. I felt Kashmir is called paradise on earth not without a reason. The vastness and magnitude of scenic beauty made me awestruck. The water has turned green due to presence of algae and other aquatic plants. The lake with its extensive marshes have an important natural wildlife. There are a number of migratory waterfowl species residing there. Many terrestrial bird species also found around the lake. It is also an important habitat for aquatic life. All these play a significant part in enhancing the  natural beauty of the lake. In conclusion, i would like to say that i found myself  insignificant

All my life i have lived in a metropolis. Beauty defined by social media posts and the standards set by them was my idea of beautyall my life till i opened my eyes
