My Year So Far

My year in Ms. Natividad's Language Arts class has been an amazing experience. As I look back at my older written pieces, I notice many things I could have added to improve it. Using the knowledge I have obtained in the classroom helps me make my writing better. Because of this, my writing has improved greatly since then, and it has only been one year! My favorite works are two poems, one being a poem on trust, and the other, a blackout poem. Using figurative language, I was able to convey a deeper meaning of trust. The blackout poem is also a beautiful piece of work, seeing how the decoration around it demonstrates a sense of ¨imperfection.¨ Conclusively, being in this wonderful class has helped me see the world in a new perspective, and has helped me to become a better writer.
