After they land, they arrive at a hotel with a room the size of a large apartment- which they end up sharing. What Lee doesn't know is that he had an important meeting about getting back into college, and he had work. Given she doesn't know is enrollment status he has to play it cool and wait it out. On the bright side, they spent another day together. When Pab comes home he's greeted by bad news. He soon finds out this is an intervention. His parents think he's depressed and that is why he lacks purpose, drive and intention in his actions. Instead of welcoming their efforts to help, he denies them. This only pushed him deeper into his self loathing. He makes an unfortunate connection between Lee and her manager, Luca. When Lee first showed up in the bodega, at 5am dressed in clothes from the night before, she was coming from Luca's apartment 2 blocks away. Lee invites Pab to go to seoul with her. When they get there, they go to bed and when Pab wakes up he sees a note from Lee saying she had to do some business and she'd be back in an hour or two. She ends up being gone for 15 hours. Upon her return, Pab finds out she's been in an entirely different country, China, leaving him stranded. This turns into a huge fight where the Luca situation is brought up. He doesn't eat or shower he just sleeps for days. When he comes out of his room he finds out his roomate, Tice, is moving out to pursue an important job opportunity. Instead of being happy for him, Pab makes smart remarks out of jealousy. Tice then has a come to Jesus with Pab and tells him how he likes drive and motivation to do anything worthwhile with his life. Pab lands a job at a nice restaurant, courtesy of Tice's girlfriend Dara. He re enrolls in school and his life finally begins to come together.
