Seesaw- take a picture of the students’ drawing of a memory and use the mic options to allow students to describe the actions or events of the memory (unit 3 portfolio checklist)
2. Chatterpix-take a picture of students’ gingerbread running away from something. In Chatterpix, the students will say, “Run run as fast as you can! You can’t catch me, I am the gingerbread man. I ran away from the ______ and I’ll run away from you!”
3. Kahoot (or another “voting” app)- the students will vote which gingerbread man book they liked the most.
4. Epic- read/listen to books on Epic (around our theme) each week for our read aloud.

Voice/Record Seesaw
The students illustrated a picture of a memory with their family. The students and I talked about the picture and I wrote down all the details as I asked open ended questions to get students to describe their memory. The next day, we took a picture of their illustration and added it to their seesaw portfolio. The students record their voice as they explained the picture/memory. Many of my students were shy and uneasy to talk to the iPad about their picture. With more exposure to technology, I believe students will be more comfortable.

**Forgot to post this activity in December**

We used Chatterpix to end our gingerbread week. The day before, students illustrated a picture of what their gingerbread man would run from and they copied either a sentence or just the word (depending on level). The next day, we took pictures using Chatterpix and the students said, "Run, run, as fast as you can. You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!"

We used Chatterpix and an aging app to celebrate our 100th day of school. The students took their picture using an aging app. The students were shocked seeing their selves old and wrinkly. After students saved their picture, we upload it into Chatterpix and the students said what they would do if they were 100 years old. I created QR codes for all the students Chatterpix and will use their picture and Chatterpix qr code for our February bulletin board. Happy 100th day of school!

The popplet app creates a web map of any topic. In unit 4, our math standards include identifying basic shapes. Once the students understood how to use popplet, the students were asked to go around the room and find items that were circular to add to their circle popplet web map. The students LOVED adding bubbles to add more pictures of circular objects.

Each unit on the unit checklist, the students are required to identify a set of numbers. For unit 4, the students were asked to prove their ability to recognize a set of 5. I pre made an activity on seesaw where I drew sets of dots using different colors: set of 1, set of 2, set of 3, set of 4, and a set of 5. The students listened to my recorded directions on the activity, clicked on the drawing option, identified the set that had 5 dots, and circled the set to save to their seesaw electronic portfolio.
