But they never meet in human form again. The reason I believe this is because Balister says he sees these animals following him around, looking at him. But we don't figure out if its really Nimona not. This leads me to believe this is Nimona. I think this because they are both fantasy books. Also because they are written by the same author. In Lumberjanes the author talks about a women in the forest they saw change into a bear. Nimona is also a shape-shifter. This tells me there are both based in a fantasy world.
