P/T
The emotional trauma that one suffers due to war could bring about devastating psychological effects to its survivors.

E
This is because derogatory aspects of wars such as bloodshed, violence and the loss of loved ones have especially far-reaching effects on our mental wellbeing<del>, and</del> . As victims of wars, survivors have witnessed such atrocities first-hand. These gruesome memories of wars are etched indelibly in the depths of their minds and could well take a toll on their psychological well-being. The memories of these nefarious atrocities they have been through could in turn lead to a vastly negative and despondent outlook on life, adversely impacting their social interactions and perspectives towards others and themselves.

EG
For example, many Jews have suffered in the <del>expanse of </del>concentration camps across German-occupied territories in WW2 and approximately 6 million of them <del>had</del> have lost their lives within them. However, there were many Jews who emerged from the war <del>and despite being</del> unharmed physically, <del>they</del> but have been devastated and torn mentally. <del>and</del> Many more have committed suicide as a result of the emotional trauma of losing their loved ones in a matter of seconds, be it within the walls of gas chambers in the compounds of the camps or shot by soldiers in the wilderness of the battlegrounds of war. Struggling to integrate into a post-war society, they have <del>been subject to extreme </del>undergone negative emotional bouts of grief and many have been leading "lifeless lives" ever since, overwhelmed <del>with</del> by the harsh reality of the war and its aftermath<del>s</del>.

L/S
Evidently, the grappling consequences of wars <del>has </del>have immensely impacted the lives of those who have been through it and despite the apparent "triumph" of surviving a war, one must never forget that the emotional hardships one would have to face later in life could eventually evolve into a life-long emotional battlefield itself.

<del>. and</del>

P/T: War causes a lot of psychological pain and grief to survivors that last long after the war has ended.

E: War consists of large amounts of senseless killing, bloodshed and loss of loved ones. All <del>this is</del> these are very traumatic to experience and these memories will keep resurfacing, causing the survivors to have to relive these agonising moments of their lives over and over again. This makes it very hard for survivors to return back to a normal, quiet way of life as they will still feel the pain and grief from the war.

EG: Eva Schloss, one of the few remaining survivors of the Holocaust, explains that she shares her story with others to help her remain sane from all the trauma and grief she experienced <del>got</del> from the war. She also mentioned that memories of her lost loved ones would come and haunt her at night when there was nothing occupying her mind. In addition, Eva mentioned and repeated a few times how she wanted to "go back to normality", which highlights how she feels she is unable to return to a normal life even 80 years after the war.

L/S: Therefore, war impacts survivors greatly with trauma and grief that do not stop haunting them many years after the war itself.

P/T <del>There are many types of war, cold war, colonial war, invasion, range war, religious war, and many more. However,</del> <del>they all have the same effect on people, which is depression. </del>One of the major effects of wars is depression in war survivors.
E <del>Whether it is during or after the war, depression will always be terrorizing each and every individual in the war</del> Depression can strike war survivors even long after the war has ended. The loss of a loved one, the constant destruction of the surroundings, the living in constant fear, will all lead to depression. <del>They would turn into long-term effects which makes one grief about the past even if the war is over. This leads to depression for individuals. </del><del>In addition to psychological depression, economic depression may also come into play. Most of the money needed for war is used for the military, hence would not have enough for the other basic essentials. At the end of the war, money is also needed for the rebuild of buildings, which also needs a huge sum of money. </del> ( Don't repeat or place irrelevant details)
EG For example, 75 million people died in World War 2. The loved ones of these large number of people would definitely grieve over them and may feel a sense of<del> deep </del>sadness. Some may even feel depressed because they may feel that their loved ones <del>they</del> <del>might be</del>, who played a huge part in their lives are not there anymore. <del>and without them, they would be depressed. </del>World War 2 cost about $4.1 trillion and this money could be used for better things. This amount of money is simply wasted because of war and this led to more people being depressed.
L Hence, depression is undeniably one major effect of war.
