Peer pressure can lead to teens taking negative risk such as smoking. Often times they do it in order to fit in and get validation from others. However getting that pressure from peers can be overwhelming for many adolescents and can impact their optimal growth.
Adolescents are more likely to smoke because of social media trends so they are more likely to start vaping at a young age without really thinking of the consequence and how it can impact their health. Smoking can also result in lung cancer.
Cyber bullying is more dangerous then in person bullying because with cyber bullying you don't know who is talking negatively about you and it could random people that you don't know could be saying mean stuff about you while in person bullying you know who it is so you could tell an adult.

Based on our group discussions we concluded that the pressure for teens to engage or to not engage in sexual activities can vary for male and female teens. Male teens are pressured more when it comes to this topic and can get made fun of for not being anything or for being too “innocent”. While for many teenage girls it is the opposite and is pressured into saving themselves and to not engage in any sexual activity. While this can affect those groups differently it can make some teenage boys more likely to develop STD’s and/or spread STD’s or cause unwanted pregnancies because they are so much more pressured into engaging in sexual activity and not informing themselves on the health dangers and risks that are associated with sex. While for many young girls they can also be so tired of that pressure and these un-achievable expectations that they would want to prove the point that they’re bad or don’t care and would engage in sexual activity as well just to rebel. There is a double standard with male and female teens when it comes to this topic and that can affect the likelihood of developing STD’s, teen pregnancy.
Yaa. A, Yorleny. G, Kenia.
